Modular Suit Remastered

The Modular Suit mod is back, but this is more than a simple fork.

================================================================ The original modular suit mod, while a great premise, only had five modules to choose from. I wanted to expand upon that system and make a truly modular suit, with plenty of options to choose from. There should not be any module that is objectively best to run at all times. And each job should have a variety of options to choose from that best suit their role in the crew. This mod currently has 34 modules to pick between, with more likely to be added when I come up with more stupid ideas. I tried to create balanced module choices, as well as a few clearly meme or funny modules just because. But all of them are very much usable!

For years, the coalition has been hard at work creating the most adaptive suit possible. Finally, it's complete. The Modular Suit MK3 is built with three module slots; each slot only allows a matching module color & shape. The three module types are Utility, Combat, and Skill. Here are just a few examples:

Utility Slot

Healing Module : Slowly heals basic external damage types as well as bleeding. Does not heal anything involving surgery

Inspiring Presence Module : Reduces damage and stun that nearby crew members take

Rum Module : Slowly refills bottles of rum in your inventory, if they are not topped up

Combat Slot

Melee Module : Boosts melee attack speed and damage

Shockwave Module : Releases an electric shockwave that stuns all nearby melee attacks when the wearer is hit. Avoids triggering from allies.

Deathblast Module : When the wearer gives in to death, a powerful explosion is triggered, killing anything nearby!

Skill Slot

Skill Module : Boosts all skill by +8

Electrical Skill Module : Boosts electrical by +25

Engineer Module : Increases electrical repair speed, allows repairing an additional 20% health to electrical items, increases damage to ballast flora, and gives a small boost to welding speed

There are MANY more for you to discover in-game! You can see some of the icons in the screenshots above. They can all be crafted with unique recipes; the more powerful ones tend to involve job-specific items. I did this to encourage teamplay and give more use to potentially underused job items. You can also find all the modules inside of wrecks at a low chance, some lower than others. The suit itself is meant to be acquired mid-game, since it requires an abyss diving suit to craft.

This mod is designed to work with several other mods, mainly "Real Sonar", "Immersive repairs", and "Enhanced medical operation". The sonar suit has built-in resistance to sonar, while the maintenance suit has a built-in welding mask to protect against welder's eye. All the suits have medium armor to protect against the damage from Enhanced medical operation. Thankfully none of the listed mods are necessary for the suits to function! Nor will it throw any errors if you don't have them. It's just a nice little bonus I added in.

However, if any of the recipes seem too cheap or expensive, let me know, and I can make tweaks. I don't necessarily have a perfect grasp of everything in Baro vanilla since I play a good bit of modded! But this mod uses all vanilla recipes, so there are no requirements besides LuaCs.
