An upgrade for Husk Symbiosis, making the parasite behave more like a true biological symbiote.

The Husk actively regenerates its host, suppresses certain biological weaknesses and attempts to keep the body functional during critical injuries.

Some players will find this mod overpowered. A stronger Husk Symbiosis is the whole point.

Vanilla Features

• Stronger passive regeneration.

• Increased Blunt Trauma regeneration.

• Slow regeneration of Bleeding and Blood Loss.

• 30% resistance to normal infections.

• Complete immunity to Radiation Sickness.

• Full Symbiosis keeps the host conscious and controllable during severe injuries.

• Below 30% health, emergency regeneration becomes stronger but causes additional Blood Loss.

• Burns, Acid and Fire damage do not regenerate and still require treatment.

Modded Features

Neurotrauma

• Gradual regeneration of fractures, dislocations, internal bleeding, organ damage, arterial cuts, infections and many other conditions.

• Progressing injuries regenerate consistently instead of repeatedly jumping back up.

• No oxygen dependency. Hypoxemia, Oxygen Loss, Respiratory Arrest, Hyperventilation, Hypoventilation and Shortness of Breath are suppressed.

• Nausea and vomiting are suppressed.

• The host survives without vital organs such as the Heart, Lungs or Brain. Removing too many organs still causes death.

• Missing organs do not regenerate.

• Head amputation is prevented due to the Husk tentacles.

• Arms and legs remain vulnerable to amputation and do not regrow.

• Severe medical conditions still reduce overall vitality and remain potentially fatal. A direct shot to the head still risks blowing the head off and killing the host.

Real Sonar

• Regenerates most supported sonar-related afflictions.

Immersive Repairs

• Regenerates and suppresses Welder's Eye.

Compatibility

Neurotrauma, Real Sonar and Immersive Repairs are optional. Compatibility features for absent mods are automatically ignored.

Please report crashes or features failing to work, especially with Neurotrauma. Neurotrauma is a massive mod, so compatibility issues are difficult to rule out completely.

If you experience crashes with Neurotrauma installed, try placing Enhanced Husk Symbiosis after Neurotrauma in your load order.
