LaW 02 : "With a little help from Barney"

The * Laser and Water * story (LaW) is part of a PORTALF-LIFE adventure ! These maps have to be played in the right sequence, starting with LaW 00. Following Ratman's track you keep searching for the Main Gates in order to stop the water and get out of the flooded plant.

** In chapter 2 **

Obviously there will be no gate to close around here, so the best move for now is trying to come back in the elevator room below for testing another passage. While exploring the upper part you will get unexpected help from a good linguist old friend...

** More clues **

Here is the sequence to complete this adventure:

1. Bring back the lift at level 0.
2. At level 2, find the power switch and activate the laser beam.
3. With the help of Barney, disable the fire bars.
4. You have now access to the exit on level -1.

Additionally, 2 secrets, 5 bonus and a blue minicube are to be found to get the "Fame Board" code.

** Excerpt from the storyboard **

... Ok, now that he finally reached the senso-lift, Doug Ratman found it stuck at the level -1! "Well If it is still working, it should move up by dropping some heavy stuff on it" he thought... ... When he entered the upper room, he remembered those experiments he had done on the captured Black Mesa monsters, in a not-so-distant past. Finally they could be of great use right now. Thanks to the many hours, studying and trying to tame the beasts, he could maybe use one of them to reach that cube. "Let's see if this one is as sensitive to radio waves as my former lab subjects were."
