Eagle's Nest

This Aperture map was inspired by the beautiful and amazing skybox creation by SkyGlass. Kudos Mate!!

As Aperture Science grew, so did Cave’s paranoia. He created an ‘Eagle’s Nest’ environment over 10,000 feet high in the mountains to store (his) most sensitive technical and financial documents - and a rather perilous set of test chambers to experiment on just how much a human body could take.

Accessible only by helicopter drones, it is stated that only Cave had access to the facility once construction was complete. My guess is it also served as a place that Caroline had periodic access too, hence there’s a bed on the upper floor of the main house.

Rumor also has it that Greg visited the ‘Nest’ after construction, so we’ll hope the bed didn’t come in to play, and the beer bottle is Caves.
