Conundrum 21

Conundrum 21 is a coop map especially designed for masochists, or maybe for people who feel a wee bit too confident about their everyday life and would gladly take a good old slap of brain twisting trauma. Solving it definitely requires more logic and "out of the box" thinking than real actual fun (I myself am not much of a funny person anyway). That said, I'm fully ecstatic to share with you my very first Portal custom level. The awkward, deviant and wicked sort of ecstasy.

Is it really too tough ? I just don't know. Maybe. Perhaps. Most likely.

The first two brave guinea pigs who volunteered to stress test the map -for the sake of science- spent a complete hour wandering around and bumping their scraps on the ceiling edges using faith plates, mumbling about how insane I supposedly am. They had crawled through too many emancipation grids, I tell you.

"Tickle tickle sizzles the dazzling fizzler, then you grizzle of dizziness" a cake craving friend always used to say... before she learned (the hard way) that being colorblind is not the best asset when it comes to avoiding discouragement fields.

Anyway, after three more hours, my rusty robotic pair of test subjects finally made it... using a deceitful architectural flaw that I just didn't spot soon enough. So I whipped my own back half a dozen times for personal forgiveness, then fixed it, and here it is ! The stiff and mean and cruel and perverse final version of the map that I hope a bunch of crazy nuts somewhere will still manage to find enjoyable !

But hey ! Who knows ? Maybe there are still one or two disappointing shortcuts to unveil in order to bypass my nasty schemes... It is now all yours to decide whether I should quietly disassemble myself right now or keep on drowning in my own satisfaction, practicing at my best diabolical laughter and petting a grumpy black angora cat while my webcam is set to film my excessively over-sized leather chair from behind.

And in case anybody wonders : why the hell 21 ? Which would be quite a sane question to ask at this point. Well... because it's the half of 42, obviously.

I made a few fix updates on the map, see the change log section for more detail. Many thanks to Muecke, Neolak168 and The_Cheezburglr for pointing me out those bugs and shortcuts !

I love to see that some players really like a touch of challenge and want so bad to finish this map ;) I guarantee that there is a way through without any nasty trick and of course without ever being killed. And again, thanks a lot for your suport and feedback ! Long life to Portal ^^
