The Doom Files Reloaded is a collection of test chambers Aperture Labs did not dare to put into operation.

File #3 - The Impossible Room has actually been put into operation several years ago, but had to be closed again after only 41 days. The test chamber caused an increased demand of test subjects by a rate of 600 percent. The problem revealed after a few days: Only 14 percent of the test subjects reappeared from the chamber, the rest vanished under as yet unexplained circumstances. Till today, the survivors are under permanent observation in Aperture’s psychiatric emergency ward.

The Impossible Room does not offer an apparent solution to find your way out. Also the blueprints have disappeared from the archives. As the hitherto test subjects in part have vanished and in part have turned certifiable, no further illustrations of the chamber could be retrieved, save the official inauguration picture. There is only the following documented statement of the late Cave Johnson: “There is a way out, keep your f...ing peckers up!”

By reason of lack of test subjects having left The Impossible Room in full possession of their mental powers, no further details of the chamber’s internal structure are available for your information.
