Welcome to Chimera, an abandoned shipping port on the rugged coast of Northern British Columbia. Once a pillar of industrial infrastructure, the port has decayed and has been claimed by the encroaching wilderness.

Chimera is a 5v5 Defusal map designed to test your tactical skills and adaptability. Drawing inspiration from Halo 4’s Landfall, outside segments of de_nuke and the classic map de_assault, it offers players a diverse gameplay experience.

Map Features

• Varied Environments ⠀⠀• Transition between close-quarters combat zones and wide-open spaces with trench warfare-esque cover. Chimera requires firepower, but also offers many strong utility options. • Dynamic Verticality ⠀⠀• Utilize multi-level structures to gain a tactical edge or execute unexpected flanks. • Flanking Opportunities ⠀⠀• Strategically placed pathways and routes reward players who explore and outmaneuver opponents. • Atmospheric Setting ⠀⠀• Industry falls to the map’s overgrowth, blending vibrant nature with the stark decay of an industrial behemoth.
