De_Khorum

This project is an environment design created for Counter-Strike 2, themed around “Khorum,” and inspired by the historical urban planning and commercial streets of the 13th century. The environment has been reinterpreted through a modern perspective while preserving its historical atmosphere.

The main concept of the project is to depict a conflict and combat zone set within a historical site that is currently being restored and redeveloped into a modern theme park. Narratively, the environment is based on the ruins of the ancient city of Karakorum, where reconstruction and development activities are actively taking place. Historical buildings, market streets, and central plazas are being restored and modernized for tourism purposes, yet the process unfolds in an unstable and conflict-ridden situation.

The environment design emphasizes the intersection of the past and the present by combining traditional architectural elements with modern construction features, creating a unique visual identity that blends historical heritage with contemporary interpretation.
