de_ararat

Sunlit stone streets above. Soviet-era tunnels below. Mount Ararat on the horizon. de_ararat is a community bomb-defusal map for Counter-Strike 2, designed for 5v5 play and inspired by the architecture, culture, and atmosphere of Yerevan, Armenia. Fight through market streets, contest Mid and the café, or take the underground station connector to rotate between the two bombsites. Above ground, the clock tower, Cascade, and railway-station skyline give the map its Armenian identity. Below ground, an express train thunders through weathered tunnels—watch the platform edge.

• Two distinct bombsites: Clock Court and the railway-station plaza, featuring the David of Sassoun monument. • An underground connector built around fast rotations, coordinated rushes, and a passing train. • A risky clock-tower ladder position and a teamwork boost peek for B retakes. • Armenian flags, khachkars, pomegranate market details, and music throughout the spawns and café. • A layered radar and marked plant zones.

WORK IN PROGRESS This is an evolving playtest build. Layout, balance, lighting, textures, models, and sound are still being refined. The aim is fun, readable gameplay with a little personality and room for teamwork.
