PropHunt — Hide & Seek in CS2
PropHunt is a game mode where one team disguises themselves as objects from the map and hides, while the other team has to find and eliminate them.
At the start of each round, Props get 40 seconds to hide. After that, the hunt begins. A round lasts up to 10 minutes. Props can move around, lock themselves in place, rotate their model, and use the tools available to them, while Hunters search the map and try to figure out which objects are actually players.
Playing as a Prop
Your goal is to find a believable hiding spot, blend in with the environment, and survive until the end of the round.
Controls:
E — lock your Prop in place / unlock it. A / D — rotate your Prop while locked. Movement — standard CS2 controls. Camera — third-person view. Props receive a flashbang that can be used to escape from Hunters. During the round, all Props are periodically changed to new objects. Playing as a Hunter
Your goal is to find and eliminate all disguised players before the timer runs out.
Check suspicious objects, remember how the map normally looks, and pay attention to anything that seems out of place. Missing your shots causes a small amount of damage, so blindly shooting everything is not a good strategy. Killing a Prop restores some health.
Hunters also have a Decoy Scanner. Throwing it scans the surrounding area and briefly helps reveal Props caught within its range.
Round Objective
Props win if at least one Prop survives until the timer reaches zero.
Hunters win if they find and eliminate every Prop.
Hide where an object would naturally belong, avoid unnecessary movement, and make the Hunters question every chair, box, monitor, and trash can they see.
Как установить и запустить
Откройте страницу карты в Steam Workshop и нажмите «Подписаться». Дождитесь окончания загрузки в Steam. Запустите Counter-Strike 2, откройте «Играть» и раздел карт Мастерской, затем выберите карту. Если карта не появилась, перезапустите игру после завершения загрузки. Доступность конкретной карты зависит от её совместимости с текущей версией CS2.
