Evospace 0.21.0 patch 1

Lighting modes have been improved: the regular flashlight and both night vision modes. A flashlight is now available right from the start of the game. Toggle it with the L key.

Equipment logic has been fixed: an item is now equipped only when placed into an equipment slot, not when simply picked up in hand.

• Reduced the recycler's internal buffer: it now matches one tick of consumption

• Fixed heat loss after rebuilding the system

• Fixed a crash when using the Lua world generator

• Added weather settings for wind direction and strength

• Fixed a bug that prevented cloud cover updates (Volumetric clouds)

• Rain is now blocked by blocks and no longer falls indoors

This update includes improvements for logic blocks, but their full functionality will arrive in 0.21.1.

Logic Interface

The Logic Interface lets you configure complex conditions and output signals when those conditions are met. For example, it can send a signal that changes how a robo arm works once a certain item threshold is reached.

Or an overflow pump for dumping excess fluid. It will work with both the pump and the valve.

The block itself chooses which signals to export and which incoming signals control it. For example, the Crafter's signals currently look like this. Here you can export its input and output inventories, a flag showing that the block is working, and its recipe progress, as well as turn the block on and off via an incoming signal.
