Patch 5/19/26

Greetings Defenders,

Patch 5/19/26 is now live! This week’s update brings a brand-new Map of the Week rotation, updated rewards, and several spawning adjustments to improve gameplay pacing and scaling across multiple maps.

New Map of the Week

This week’s Map of the Week is The Outpost.

Campaign

• Completing the Map of the Week on Nightmare or Massacre difficulty awards double Rune drops.

Survival / Mixed Mode

• Must be completed with the Rifted Mode toggle enabled.

Nightmare Difficulty Rewards

• Fused Guard Armor

• Fused Royal Blade

• Mini Ogre

Massacre Difficulty Rewards

• Arcanist Gloves

• Mini Ogre (all variants can now spawn)

• Fused Protean Slicer

Pure Strategy

• Must be completed with the Rifted Mode toggle enabled.

Nightmare Difficulty Rewards

• Comically Large Staff

• Tower Penguin

• Fused Guard Armor

Massacre Difficulty Rewards

• Comically Large Staff

• Tower Penguin (all variants can now drop)

• Fused Golden Scarab

Map Updates

• All enemy spawners, except Lycan Ogre and Goblin Copter spawners, now ignore multiplayer scaling on The Mill.

• All enemy spawners, except Lycan Ogre and Goblin Copter spawners, now ignore multiplayer scaling on The Outpost.

• Spider spawns on The Outpost have been converted to a percentage-based spawn schedule instead of wave-based spawning.

  • To compensate, the total number of spiders has been increased.

• Wyvern spawns on The Outpost have also been converted to a percentage-based spawn schedule instead of wave-based spawning.

  • To compensate, the total number of Wyverns has been increased.

• All enemy spawners, except Lycan Ogre and Goblin Copter spawners, now ignore multiplayer scaling on The Keep.
