Patch 5/26/26

Greetings Defenders,

A new Map of the Week rotation is here! This update brings new rewards for Royal Gardens, challenge incentives featuring Crystal Core pets, and additional fixes and improvements for The Outpost. Check out the full details below.

New Map of the Week

This week’s Map of the Week is Royal Gardens.

Campaign

• Completing the Map of the Week on Nightmare or Massacre difficulty awards double Rune drops.

Challenges

• Completing the Creeping Challenge on Insane difficulty or higher now awards one of the Crystal Core pets.

Survival / Mixed Mode

• Must be completed with the Rifted Mode toggle enabled.

Nightmare Difficulty Rewards

• Fused Militia Armor

• Fused Paintstorm

• Apprentice Animus

Massacre Difficulty Rewards

• Arcanist Chest

• Apprentice Animus

• Fused Protean blaster

Pure Strategy

• Must be completed with the Rifted Mode toggle enabled.

Nightmare Difficulty Rewards

• Comically Large Bow

• Apprentice Guardian

• Fused Ancient Armor

Massacre Difficulty Rewards

• Comically Large Bow

• Apprentice Guardian

• Fused Sapphire Brooch

Bug Fixes

• Temporarily reverted the Casting Rate changes made in recent updates that addressed repair interruptions caused by Casting Rate reaching 0.

  • This change is temporary while we continue investigating a more permanent fix.

Map Updates

The Outpost

• Reduced the number of enemies required to activate pulse acceleration on Goblin Copter lanes to 2.

  • This change helps the final few copters spawn much faster.

• Moved both Goblin Copter spawners slightly forward.

  • This was done to help prevent stuck Ogre Copters.
