v1.97b Patch Notes

Hello,

We have deployed a small patch on the Windows stable branch to address a few issues, mainly related to the 1.97 runtime upgrade.

Regarding DemonCrawl store availability: We have an open support ticket with Valve asking if it's possible to restore DemonCrawl to a purchase-able state on Steam (we missed our deadline for fixing the Wi-Fi related crashes - this was our fault, not Valve's), but we cannot make any promises/provide an ETA at this time. We will post a follow-up announcement once we know more. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

• Speculative fix for a crash related to Blacksmith item reward

• Added safe fallbacks for issues with orb-related variables

• Fixed sprite for Forgotten stage mod

• Replaced a few calls to legacy methods from Steamworks extension with modern equivalents
