Customizing Your Bobos

Hi everyone!

With the new Next Fest demo coming out a month from now, I'm excited to show off a bunch of the stuff that you can expect in Bobo Bay, starting off with the customization!

In Bobo Bay, you have a few ways to customize your Bobos. First off, are accessories. Each Bobo has slots for accessories, which you can get as rewards from competitions, finding them on your Excursions while out and about on your Jetski, and buying them from shops/pop-up shops around the town. These give your Bobos special properties that can help them with the next competition.

Next up, are Animal Crackers! They have different slots and can persists through a Bobo's lifetimes, but can be removed with a Bobo Cracker. Animal Crackers behave the same way as accessories, but they have different slots specifically for them.

Each species of Bobo has 5 forms (which we'll get into more in an upcoming post!). All of these forms can morph and change over a Bobo's lifetime depending on the snacks eaten, and who knows, if you feed them the right snacks, they might even grow new parts! Each species has 20 patterns, and can dictate what a Bobo's arms, legs, body, and head look like! By mashing (breeding) Bobos, you can even interchange their patterns!

As for what a Bobo looks like when they spawn, their blush and mouth types can range from 20 different possibilities, with there also being a** hundred different colors** that they can spawn with! However, you can change their color with a donut, which allows you to lighten or darken their base color. Always remember though: colors are specific to the species of Bobo!
