Upcoming Update Preview

We will be rolling out an update in the near future:

the Director Mode

Director Mode will give you unprecedented freedom, allowing you to have more control over editing the game world. In this mode, you’ll be able to:

Arrange Zombies/Survivors: You can place zombies and survivors wherever you like, setting their numbers and locations to create anything from a zombie-overrun wasteland to a well-protected survivor camp.

Edit Terrain and Build Camps: With Director Mode, you’ll be able to edit certain parts of the game’s terrain. This means you can set up different facilities and defensive structures—like fences, campfires, and a variety of fortifications.

Save and Share Scenarios: You’ll be able to save your custom scenarios as survival mode or mission mode saves, which you can share with other players. This feature will play an important role when we launch the Creative Workshop in the future.

Director Mode will support full customization, letting you create various levels, starting terrain for survival mode, and more. Our goal is to make Director Mode the first step towards a full-fledged Creative Workshop, where players can unleash their creativity and share their creations with the community.
