0.8.2 Custom Endless Mode, Gangler Overhaul, and more Churchrooms

Hello, Classrooms players! Update 0.8.2 is here with several new features and changes, including Custom Mode for Endless Mode, a complete Gangler overhaul, new Churchrooms tiles, and more.

Custom Endless Mode

You can now play an altered version of Endless Mode where you can specify exactly which and how many entities will appear. Your Depth is calculated from the combined Danger Level of the entities you chose, rather than progressively incrementing the deeper you go.

Custom Mode Level Modifiers

You can now customize the level modifiers.

Levels that normally have water will NOT have water unless you enable FLOODED

Gangler Overhaul

The Gangler has been fully redesigned, with a new nightmare-inducing appearance, higher-quality audio, and slightly adjusted behavior. A new Mangler variant has also been introduced based on this rework, as well as a creepy experimental shadow version... The original Gangler will no longer appear in Story Mode, but will remain available in Custom Mode.

Churchrooms

• 16 new unique rooms, plus 1 existing room updated to better match the Churchrooms aesthetic

• New wooden doors

• Fixed Smiley moving while invisible in light

• Fixed Smiley no longer turning lights blue

• Smiley's head now gently tilts from side to side

• Smiley now turns off TVs

Optimizations

• Level generation is now slightly faster

• Optimized the player to use fewer CPU resources

Entity and Sound Fixes

• Fixed character skin clipping through clothing during death animations

• Fixed entities becoming distracted by their own physics sounds

• Fixed entities ignoring Egg Timer ding when too close

• Fixed player whistle and Dog Whistle sounds not playing when too many other sounds were active

Other Changes

• Fixed Keycards disappearing when dropped

• Improved loot system balance: item spawn rates have been reduced, expect to find 1 to 2 glowsticks per level
