Patch Notes - Apr 29 2026 - "Post Release Patch 7"

So last time I was talking to y’all here in December, I said that our Post-Release Patch 6 would be our last patch for Possessor(s) and uh, I LIED, I am SORRY.

With the launch of Possessor(s) on the Nintendo Switch 2 (!!!), we revisited a few little things that were bothering us, with some additional bug fixes! Complete patch notes below.

As part of the launch of the game on Nintendo Switch 2, a new permanent lower price for the game is live on all platforms the Possessor(s) was released on; it is now $9.99USD!

Gameplay

• In our last patch, we pushed the little Map Progress Tracking functionality (a little tracking for items that players can pick up in the world), and it shipped a little broken for some regions; it is now fixed!

• Fixed broken POIs (markers on the map not showing for Quests)

  • Fixed the marker for the final objective of the “Floral Findings” not showing on the map

  • Fixed the marker for the final objective of “The Last Season” not showing on the map

  • Fixed "Bad Neighbours" objective markers not showing on the map

• Fixed the issue where 'Collect X Microfilms' objectives would never complete

• Fixed the vault sequence so [REDACTED] flies in, as intended, instead of just popping into existence (lmao)

UI

• Fixed the issue where hovering a Quest Marker would often not open the Quest Details panel

• Fixed the issue where the Region label would not update when changing selection in the Quest List

• Fixed the issue where the checkbox in the Quest Details panel would be weirdly aligned for any 'collect x' objective

• Fixed the issue where the flashback dots effect could get stuck on the screen after any flashback

Localization

• Fixed some typos in various languages
