Blockscape — September 2026 Update

Trees look more like trees, oaks grow apples, and horses will follow you for a snack.

The horses and saving and loading of mobs is to prepare for animal farming.

Trees & foliage

• Leaves near trunks and branches sway less than the free canopy — the wind feels more natural

• Twig and bark connectors link leafy canopy back to the trunk

• Tree roots reach out onto soil, grass, and sand

• Bark tubes and roots can pick up grass/moss cover like the rest of the terrain

• Leaf cards have more varied sizes for a less uniform canopy

Saplings & growth

• Oak, birch, and spruce saplings have clearer tool icons and growth models

• Fully grown oak saplings can hang apples under summer and autumn leaves

• Removing a sapling properly picks up floating snap items first

Horses & creatures

• Hold an apple and nearby horses will follow you instead of running away

• Apples are carried in the left hand, and other players can see them in multiplayer

• Placed and wild creatures save and load more reliably — including colors for horses, ghosts, flowers, and pollen

• Foxes, horses, and swans flee and scatter more smoothly, with fewer “running in place” glitches in multiplayer

Other

• God-mode inventory fill now includes all mushroom seed materials
