Gamepad, Fast Travel & Quest Fixes

Hello everyone!

We wanted to drop a quick update on how things are going since launch.

We've already pushed several patches, and a lot of the improvements you've seen came straight from your feedback, so thanks for jumping in and sharing your thoughts right away.

Right now we're also working on some bigger updates, the kind that sit deep in the game's systems and keep everything stable as we keep improving Permafrost. These take a bit more time, but they make future updates smoother and safer to roll out. In the meantime we're still reading your reports on Steam and Discord, and they help us decide what to tackle next.

We can't share details yet, but more updates are already in motion. Thanks for being here with us this early, it means a lot.

Here's what today's patch brings:

Controls

• You can now open blueprints with a gamepad

World

• Moved the fast travel points near the Warehouse and Crow's Nest so they no longer collide with other objects

• Fixed floating lamps in White Hell

• Meteorite debris no longer disappears while you're looking at it

Menus

• The "Password protected" option in the main menu now works more intuitively

Quests

• Parking Zoo: animals no longer disappear after loading a save

• Hopes and Dreams: more fixes in the Bunker area

Localization & Text

• Fixed the missing text on the fast travel interaction

• Boar description in the journal

• Bear and boar pelt names now localized

• Trader name changes (Skinwalker is now listed as Scout Trader / General Trader)

• Corrected the "Return to Hunters Glade" quest description

• Church Caretaker dialogue name

• Sean's storage is now called Suitcase

• "Nothing Left to Moose" quest name now localized

• Moon Cult sign in Lost Connections now localized

• Tower of Finn: added the missing general objective

• Ethan's Past: added the missing voiceover

• Rat Queen / Logan: added the missing localization

• Icarus Solar Fields recording description
