0.6.17 - Home Comfort, Recipe Tracking, and More Quests

In this week's update our main theme is "Home Comfort". You can now decorate your house a bit and also get more buffs from sleep from the comfort you get from these decorations.

Additionally we have a new boar related quest that gives you an additional deco item + a load of other fixes and improvements.

And some news about local co-op: We just played it yesterday internally, and we're moving fast on the feature. No exact date yet, but it'll be available within 2-4 weeks if everything goes as planned!

Some highlights from the update:

Home Sweet Home

• Sleeping comfort system is now active — build a home, sleep better, get buffed

• New skills: Basic Furniture (lvl 16), Aesthetic Building Construction (lvl 20), and Basic Decorations that increase your comfort value

• Your home now matters - better sleep makes you stronger!

Combat & Controls

• Default controls revamped: M2 is now block and CTRL is secondary attack

• Dagger repositioned as a backstab weapon — no more out-DPSing swords

• Optional combat music for those who prefer it (audio tab, some stuff wip)

• Quick swapper gamepad improvement: dpad-down activates selection auto-ends in 1 sec

Quality of Life

• Recipe Tracker Manager — manage all your tracked recipes from the hub menu

• More upgrade info shown in inventory

• Baseball Cap is now upgradeable with an ammo saving modifier.

• When splitting stacks in stash, items go to player inventory first

Quests & World

• New quest following 'From Dawn Until Tusk' - get your Boar Trophies here!

• New tutorial quest for weapon combinations

• Revamped Boar Crag area

• Phase descriptions added to several main quests for better guidance

• 'Flown the Coop' tweaked — more chickens, but you only need to find most of them

Fixes

• Construction kit, hotbar, smelter, and various crash fixes

• Jop's Chickens now spawn where they're supposed to + moar backup chickens

• Roof building and hiding fixes
