AETHUS - September Development Diary

Hello, Pioneers!

Welcome to the September Development Diary for AETHUS.

The last month was huge for the game, with the demo revamp and Steam Space Exploration Festival being a massive success, bringing thousands of new players to the game and community.

It's been incredibly heartwarming to see the positive response to the game you've all shown, and thank you once again for providing such excellent feedback.

This month, I have updates for you on just a couple of the features I've been working on.

September Development

Gravity Tethers

Roland has been outfitted with new ARC technology - Gravity Tethers!

Your sentient AI companion can now lift resources up and drag them towards you in the world, to make resource gathering that little bit easier.

Upgrade the Gravity Tethers as you progress to increase their range and speed of attraction, to the point where you can sprint around the world dragging a trail of debris behind you!

Construction Renaming

You will be able to freely rename any constructions you build within your Outpost!

Whether you want to rename your storage chests to aid in organising your supplies, or pay homage to a friend with a dedicated habitat, you can rename anything you build.
