Welcome to St. Joseph's Orphanage!

Welcome to St. Joseph's Orphanage, our newest investigation site. Its graffiti-covered halls and vandalized rooms tell the story of decades of abandonment. But investigators have recently discovered the building isn’t empty. A child’s ghost now roams the orphanage, unleashing terrifying new ghost scares.

Along with the new location, we have also made some other change in preparation for custom difficulty and challenge modes:

• All Ghosts except the Phantom, Echo, Skia, Wisp, and Strigoi, can now blow out candles.

• No ghosts can light candles.

• Swapped Poltergeist Evidence with Revenant to give the Poltergeist EMF and Radiation.

• Significantly increased the amount of items thrown by the Poltergeist.

• Increased the probability of shadow events for all ghosts.

• Slightly increased Line-of-Sight Ghosts Speeds (Poltergeist, Doppelganger, Wisp, Tantalus, Iblis, Forgotten, Strigoi).

• Decreased frequency of ghost interactions with FLX-POD and Candles.

• Tariaksuq can now blow out up to 10 candles within proximity (In the name of fun).

• Spirit Box idle volume is slightly turned down.

• Light flickering sounds during hunts have been turned down.

• Light flicker distance from an actively-hunting ghost has been greatly reduced (Notably, on Stone Manor, you should not encounter lights flickering if the ghost is not on that level).

• Heartbeat sounds turned down during a hunt

Hunting ghosts now have a base speed when they do not have line of sight and not actively targeting a player.
