In the recording booth with Vincent Cassel, Jennifer English

Behind the scenes with Vincent Cassel and Jennifer English

We are launching Valor Mortis in just 5 days. However, we still have lots of news and behind the scenes looks to share from our development over the past years. We are so happy that we got to work with Vincent Cassel as Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Jennifer English as The Shrike. Their voices will guide you as you navigate a war-torn Napoleonic Europe.

Vincent Cassel is Napoleon Bonaparte

As one of the most iconic French actors in modern cinema, we were over the moon when Vincent Cassel wanted to voice Napoleon in our game. You'll recognize him from Ocean's Twelve, Black Swan, Jason Bourne, La Haine and many more. In this interview, he shares that like Bonaparte, he hails from Corsica on his mother's side of the family. He recalls that his grandmother and auntie would even call Napoleon, "a cousin of the family". It's hard to imagine a more fitting star to guide your journey through this era.

Jennifer English is The Shrike

The most recent winner of The Game Award for Best Performance, Jennifer English transformed to portray The Shrike. Known best for her roles as Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Shadowheart in Baldur's Gate 3, Valor Mortis has allowed her to play a character unlike any she's done before. Hear more about how she brought The Shrike to life in this behind the scenes interview.
