One year ago, we held a public playtest because we trusted your feedback to build a game unlike any other.

Valor Mortis is just a few days away from launch on October 13 and we can’t wait to show you how much the game has grown since then. Since the first-person perspective is uncommon in the genre, we knew that your feedback would be essential. It has helped us fine tune every aspect of the game, from the combat, to level design, and the boss fights.

Most of all, we want to thank all of you for showing interest in Valor Mortis! It has been an incredible journey, building a unique game and having it reach so many people. We think you'll like what you see when you play the game on October 13!

Future Updates

Right now, we're fully focused on the next few days. However, we've been thinking about what else we can add to Valor Mortis beyond launch! Later this year, we'll add a New Game+ mode where you'll take your progression and loot after completing the campaign once, but for a second, more challenging attempt. This time with stronger enemies, more difficulty and new surprises.

We're also thinking about other added modes but please tell us what you would want in Valor Mortis! I know that a fully voiced French version would be awesome. Personally, I would have loved to have one, too! It wasn't something we could complete before launch but we definitely want to add it later on.

There's also the content for the Deluxe Edition. The Major Story DLC will tell a complete side story, separate from the main campaign, but still exploring the world and characters of Valor Mortis in even more depth.
