We’re excited to share our game development plan and give you a closer look at what’s coming next.

Our development team is actively reviewing the game's features, mechanics, and systems to identify areas that would benefit most from further improvements. Our goal is to enhance the overall experience for both new and veteran players. We are now ready to share our plans and outline the key areas on which the development team will focus.

Below, you will find an overview of the features and areas of the game that the team plans to develop and improve in the coming months. Please note that these plans may evolve as development progresses, and individual features may change during the implementation process.

Easy Anti-Cheat is coming

We’re excited to announce that our team is working on implementing Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) to the game.

Maintaining a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone is extremely important to us. EAC will help us better detect and prevent cheating, allowing us to protect the competitive integrity of the game and create a better experience for legitimate players.

Once the update goes live, Easy Anti-Cheat will run alongside the game as part of the normal launch process. For most players, no additional action should be required.

We know that anti-cheat changes can raise questions, so if you have any, please ask and we will answer them in the next announcement.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep the game fair, competitive, and enjoyable for everyone.

Guilds Improvements

Guilds are an essential part of Gloria Victis. They bring players together, foster communities, and play a significant role in shaping the game's world and creating content and experiences for both their own members and the wider player community.

We plan to introduce improvements to communication with new recruits. We also aim to make it easier for players to discover and find guilds that suit them. The recruitment panel will be expanded with additional information about each guild, helping new players better understand the guild they are applying to and the benefits and opportunities offered by becoming a member.

In addition to improving the recruitment experience for new players, we also plan to introduce a system that rewards guilds for actively recruiting new players and supporting them throughout their early stages in the game. Guilds will be rewarded not only for welcoming new members but also for helping them remain active and engaged in Gloria Victis.

Greenleaf Centre

The development team is planning to introduce a new panel called the Greenleaf Centre. This feature will serve as a central place where new players can familiarize themselves with the game's mechanics and systems, as well as access a collection of helpful tooltips already available throughout the game.

Currently, many of these tooltips are displayed only once, leaving players with no way to revisit them later to refresh their knowledge or review useful information and tips. The Greenleaf Centre will address this by providing players with permanent access to these resources whenever they need them.

Gloria Victis is a large and complex game with numerous systems, mechanics, and activities to discover. Remembering and fully understanding everything can be challenging, particularly for new players. The introduction of the Greenleaf Centre will help players become more familiar with the game and reduce the knowledge gap between new and experienced players.

In addition, we are planning to introduce a new Player Guidance system. Gloria Victis offers a wide variety of features, mechanics, and activities, but players can sometimes struggle to discover them or understand the opportunities available to them.

The Player Guidance system will help direct players toward new goals, activities, and content to explore. It will provide guidance between main questline objectives and after their completion, helping players discover what to do next and making it easier to engage with the full range of experiences Gloria Victis has to offer.

Surface PvP activities

Gloria Victis offers a wide range of PvP activities, but many of them are not sufficiently visible or accessible to new players. As a result, new players may be unaware of the variety of PvP content available to them and the opportunities to participate.

We plan to improve the visibility and accessibility of PvP activities by making Arena options easier to find, increasing the visibility of open-world siege events and the Valley of Death tournament, and providing clearer information about what players can expect when participating in these activities.

In addition, we plan to improve the visibility of battles that develop organically throughout the open world. Players will receive clearer information about ongoing battles and guidance on how to reach their locations, making it easier to discover and join active conflicts.

We also plan to improve the Upcoming Events panel to provide players with clearer, more detailed, and more useful information about upcoming events, helping them better understand what is happening in the world and encouraging greater participation in the game's PvP activities.

PvP open world experience

Open-world PvP in Gloria Victis revolves heavily around castle sieges and defenses, which form the core and foundation of large-scale PvP gameplay. Players typically fight to conquer enemy locations in order to expand their nation's territory, gain easier access to specific events and areas, and earn National Points that contribute to guild development and progress in the world event known as Deadly Harvest.

Battles for control of locations are among the most exciting and engaging experiences in the game, with conflicts sometimes lasting for hours. However, based on player feedback, we recognize that the current system could benefit from improvements to provide greater incentives and a stronger sense of purpose for controlling, attacking, and defending locations.

The development team is continuously reviewing potential solutions and exploring new ideas to improve the experience of controlling, besieging, and defending locations in both loot and non-loot zones. While several proposals are already being considered, some of these changes will require testing in the live, persistent game environment.

As a result, the team plans to introduce a number of changes, adjustments, and improvements over time. Their long-term implementation will depend on player feedback, developer observations, and in-game statistics. Features that prove successful and beneficial will remain and be further developed, while those that do not meet expectations may be adjusted further or reverted.
