VAIL 1.15 - The Archangel Update

ARCHANGEL

Upon arriving on Reyn it won’t be obvious where the Archangel can be found anymore. But by completing a Field Order, you’ll be rewarded with intel on the Archangel’s location which is now in one of three different arenas: Lower Labs, Power Plant, and Landing Pad. Our plan is to keep adding more possible arenas and new Archangel variants, but for now do your part in destroying what’s left of the island.

ANGEL PARTS

Enemy Angels now drop various parts of themselves upon death. These parts are a new loot pack which includes pieces unique to each Angel. In the future, they’ll also drop spare ammo.

ELITE ANGELS

Three new Field Order variants have been added: REYAB is now asking you to Eliminate Eos enemies and new Elite variants of Eos and Celeno. The Elite Angels look different and have much more health compared to the standard variants.

VRATA

The all new LEGENDARY Vrata character and weapon skin pack includes 2,000 GEL and 6 skins: Colonist character head, hands, body, VSS-M primary weapon, PL-14 secondary weapon, and Kanto melee weapon.

GENERAL CHANGES

• Refreshed the UFOWeen Crate with additional Halloween themed cosmetics

• Modified an area of Power Plant to make a boss arena

• Full refactor of the backpack to fix longstanding issues and improve performance

• Added a feature to allow players to empty the backpack all at once by holding it facing down for a few seconds.

• Added a smooth lerp as items are added to the backpack

• Added the ability to drop primary weapons in the auto slot of the backpack

• Fixed backpack interactions feeling worse if you had high ping

• Fixed being able to grab invisible items out of the backpack

• Fixed being able to stab items inside the backpack with the Kanto

• Fixed some loot items not facing forward when placed in the backpack

• Misc. crash fixes and optimizations

NOTE: Some of these changes were already introduced in previous updates where we had not written patch notes yet.
