Early Access Roadmap: What's Next for Permafrost

Survivors!

Early Access is the start of the road, not the end of it. Here is where the first four updates are heading. There are a lot more exciting things to uncover!

Update 1

The highlight of the first update will be a batch of combat animation improvements across the board, from melee to bow, so that every strike lands with more weight. We are also preparing a map content update, adding new chests, hidden treasures, recipes and items! On top of that, expect quality-of-life improvements for crafting, building, and inventory, along with fresh gear like new firearms and new sets of clothes.

Update 2

[p align="start"]The second update will focus on bringing weapon parts into crafting, so you can build more weapons yourself! That, plus even more firearms, more side quests, and more of the frozen world's story to discover.

Update 3

[p align="start"]The third update will smash its way through with a completely new tool: the sledgehammer. It will let you demolish obstacles and other new destructible objects while you scavenge for resources. Two new firearms will expand the repertoire.

Update 4

[p align="start"]The highlight of the fourth update is a new biome: White Hell. The most dangerous of them all, it will test your resilience and preparedness with new enemies, distinct locations and a story of its own. It will also bring 4 new firearms, a completely new torch type and general quality-of-life upgrades.
