The Flaming Wind Pre-Release - Early Access v0.3.058

Flaming Wind Zizifek

Zizifek is the hardest boss we've made to date. Bring plenty of water. We really enjoy the fight but are interested in feedback surrounding balance. Some of you may remember Zizifek from very old versions of the game. The fight has been revamped while preserving some of the original spirit.

There are a few tools we are withholding which will make the fight easier. We will release those in future updates. We also intend to add more loot to the drop table as we receive feedback surrounding the fight.

New Mini-Dungeon: Zanorian Approach

Guarding Zizifek's volcano are its acolytes, denizens of Zanor who worship The Flaming Wind. These wayward knights sit atop their walls and smolder for your approach. They wield piercing blades, disk launchers, and fire.

Uncommon Fungal Minds Now Drop from Minibosses

We saw people get frustrated that they couldn't find a specific green tier fungal mind for their specific build. We also didn't like that such strong items were out in the open so we've added a bunch of summon-able miniboss encounters in various places. Each one of these six encounters will drop a specific fungal mind.

Various other notes:

• You will once again drop your exp at your death location (When outside the protochasm).

• Added water pot consumable

• Water pots will create a wet area that can be used to put out fire

• Added new "Zizifek Acolyte" armor set

• Added a scrapped variant of the disk launcher

• The Zanor Disk launcher now has a quicker reload animation

• New unique items added to Zizifek's drop table
