📡 New Experimental Build v1.2.0 & Steam PvE Survival Crafting Fest

A new build is now available on the Experimental Branch ⚗️.

We have been following your recent reviews, bug reports, and discussions. Your feedback helps us identify the areas that need the most attention, and this experimental build includes improvements to several frequently reported issues.

🧪 New Experimental Build v1.2.0

Highlights of what’s improved in this build:

• Quest and campaign progression fixes

• Weather balance and improved game-speed options

• Co-op stability and gameplay fixes

• Save and loading fixes

• Crash fixes and other bug fixes

🚀 How to Access the Experimental Branch

• Right-click Occupy Mars: The Game in your Steam Library.

• Select Properties.

• Open the Betas tab.

• Select unstable_public_testing_risky from the dropdown list.

💾 Back Up Your Saves Before Testing

Before playing the experimental build - remember to back up your saves.

Save files:

C:/Users/%username%/AppData/LocalLow/PyramidGames/OccupyMars/SaveData

Backup saves:

C:/Users/%username%/AppData/LocalLow/PyramidGames/OccupyMars/BackupData

Copy both folders to a safe location.

Saves opened or created in the experimental version may be upgraded to a newer format and may no longer work if you return to the current default branch.

Your testing will help us verify these fixes and prepare the update for the main branch. Reports concerning crashes, progression blockers, co-op problems, and save or loading issues are particularly useful. Remember to attach logs and save files.
